The fight against cancer
Last year we supported Knæk Cancer with DKK 1,000 per employee and will continue the support this year. Knæk Cancer is an ambitious project that TV2 and the Danish Cancer Society are behind. Cancer is a common cause that requires a common effort.
Cancer is not for children
Cancer can affect anyone, and children can become both carers and cancer patients. Either way, cancer is not for children.
Today, we support Cancer is not for kids, and we will continue to do so in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. We do this because we want to support the important research in the field of children and cancer, as it makes a big difference.
As a result of this research, 6 out of 7 children survive cancer today. Only 3% of the total funding goes to administration. Read more here
CSR support and projects
We have ongoing projects where we also provide support during a collaboration. Our latest project was in collaboration with Rotary and the Red Cross, where we developed and supported the Hjertestarter.gl app, which we are very proud of.
Active support in the local community
Over the years, we have supported a number of key areas and organisations. Currently, we support BISTAD, an initiative that helps vulnerable citizens to a better everyday life through work community and social networking, and which supports 7 of the SDGs. We also contribute to the Danish Cancer Society and Knæk Cancer with a special focus on children, as no child should fight cancer alone.
